Beta Gamma Chapter Philanthropy of Yesteryear

Christmas for Children

This newspaper clipping describes the collaborative effort among Greek and community organizations to provide entertainment and gifts for needy children at Christmas.

Christmas for Children

Beta Gamma Chapter often collaborates with other fraternities and sororities at the University of Colorado in philanthropic projects, a tradition that extends back decades. In the late 1940s, Alpha Phis joined several other Greek and community organizations in a Christmas celebration for underprivileged children. The groups hosted the children to provide entertainment, treats, and Christmas gifts from Santa.
