Beta Gamma Chapter Philanthropy of Yesteryear
This trophy honors Beta Gamma Chapter for having the cutest trainer at a Phi Delta Theta turtle derby from an unspecified year.
Turtle Derbies
In addition to their own philanthropic events, Beta Gamma Chapter participates in fundraisers hosted by other Greek organizations on campus. Phi Delta Theta Fraternity used to hold an annual turtle derby at the University of Colorado. Each sorority or fraternity selected a turtle trainer, who implemented a strict feeding and exercise regimen for their turtle in preparation for the race. Prizes were then awarded for the fastest turtle and the cutest turtle trainer.
