Theta Mu was installed on April 21, 1991 with 82 charter members and 17 alumnae initiates. Seton Hall (Eta Eta) collegians assisted in the installation. The Alpha Phi Foundation presented a $1,000 installation gift to Long Island Jewish Medical Center. A reception was held at the Best Western Hempstead. Anita Ellis, Hofstra Greek Advisor represented the Hofstra University community at the installation.
