The Theta Rho chapter of Alpha Phi was installed on December 3, 1994 in Lawton, Oklahoma. Collegiate and alumnae initiates joined in the Initiation Ceremony. Later in the day, family, friends and university officials celebrated at a reception honoring the new Alpha Phis. International Vice President-Finance Barbara Thomas (Gamma Iota-Texas Tech); Dalene Blanton Peavy (Gamma Xi-Wichita State), District Alumnae Coordinator; and Suzy Storey Armstrong (Delta Chi-William Woods), District Governor, represented Alpha Phi International and brought the good wishes of 100,000-plus sisters. Dean Wayne Hatcher welcomed Alpha Phi to Cameron during the reception.
